Impatient and excited to reunite with my favorite trio of adventurous Americanas in sparkling and sizzling Madrid, I dove right in. And, holy inferno of hotness did Jessica Peterson turn up the heat this time around! *Still Fanning Self* Scorchingly sexy from the start, Maddie and Javier’s addictive, angsty, emotional, and wildly romantic story had my ardent attention and amorous pulse racing from its utterly gorgeous cover until its blissfully happy conclusion.

First introduced in SPANISH LESSONS, Vivian’s roommate and long-time bestie, Maddie, made a lasting impression. In that book we got to know her as a kind, compassionate, and supportive confidant and friend who, sadly, was deep in despair over her parents recent divorce. Sweet, endearing, and wounded, I wanted to reach in and hug her, and I couldn’t wait for her turn at happiness. In LESSONS IN GRAVITY, despite her ongoing struggles and personal misgivings, that beautiful mess of a girl simply dazzles. Inspiringly assertive, resilient, smart, strong-willed, funny, and brazenly sensual, her delightfully complicated character enchanted me. On the prowl and ready to play, we find our Maddie on a self-soothing mission of no-strings, no-seconds orgasmic distractions with as many Madrileño hotties that she can get her wanton hands on. She’s an irresistible siren who pulls them in, takes control, takes her pleasure, and then pushes them away until one insanely perfect Spanish man changes everything. Javier.

He opens doors, places his coat on Maddie’s shivering shoulders, and has her walk on the inside on the street to keep her safe. He listens to her, appreciates her, respects her, and, when she allows him, he slowly and fervently worships every single inch of her. I treasured his capacity to love and his desire to cherish and connect with the woman he adored. His unyielding need for intimacy left me breathless.

What a rush! I enjoyed this romance so much! I couldn’t have wished for a better man or euphoric HEA for Maddie. Jessica Peterson has swiftly become my go-to author for ultimate escapes, strong heroines, top-shelf heroes, and unforgettable sex scenes! I can hardly wait for Laura and Rhys’s story to release! A sexy soccer player? Yes, please! And those sublime Simini Blocker covers? Love, love, love! I’d hang them on my wall if given the chance!
