This book is about Hoyt coming to terms with his PTSD and his love for Hayden. After the happenings of Reckless River Hoyt has been broken and in a downward spiral. He has thrown away his relationship with Hayden and is on shady terms with his teammates. He finally comes to terms with his feelings for Hayden when she is put in the middle of danger. I love this series, it's so full of action and total alpha men. And I felt so bad for Hoyt. He thought Hayden could never love him now that he's a shell of his former self. Thankfully Hayden never gave up on trying to win him back.
