This was more of a nostalgic read than a serious one. I'm rating this based on what my enjoyment of this would've been as a much younger me since at my current age, I found myself laughing out loud at some of the outrageous scenes and the overall language of the book.

This was fun and quick to get through and brought back memories. Now I feel like I should take a trip to Claire's for some earrings before heading to B. Dalton or Waldenbooks for another R.L. Stine or Christopher Pike thriller. ( )

I loved this trilogy! While in middle school I read both Goosebumps and Fear Street nonstop. Rereading has made me question what I was thinking, but this trilogy (put together here in one book) blows the rest of Stine's work away. It was dark and tragic and scary and magical and even romantic in all the right ways. Out of all his books, this is the only one I'm keeping for myself (the Goosebumps are in my classroom library).
