This book talks about how animals mostly dogs help out during disasters. It really can help a kid see how many different things dogs can do for humans. I really enjoyed this book and will be sure to keep this book in my school library so that my students can see how helpful dogs are. ( ) This guided reading book is great. It explains the different ways dogs help out after disasters. The topic of the book would be great for students because many of them will have an interest in learning about dogs. This is also great because the students that are at lower reading levels are able to read the captions in the book and still understand the story. I gave this book a 5/5 star review. I think this is a good book to use as a guided reading text. There is a lot of information on each page so this makes it so you can see what your students are understanding. This book also helps with a vocabulary. There are bolded words on each page that will help students understand what the text is telling you. You will be able to come up with good discussion questions as the student reads and understands. There are also a lot of pictures that will help students develop their understanding as they read the text. I think this is a good guided reading to have in the classroom to see if students are understanding the concept of the text. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
