Charlotte has spent years as the husband maker, sending every guy she dates off to enjoy marital bliss with the next girl he dates. But things have now changed, and she's determined to use her husband-maker abilities one last time--on herself. And she finally knows exactly who she wants. Angus has loved Charlotte since they were teenagers, but he's tired of waiting for her to realize how good they could be. She's broken his heart one too many times, and it's time to move on with his life. Maybe a position halfway across the country will be just what he needs to get over her. But when Charlotte won't let him go without a fight, Angus has to decide if he's willing to let her in again or if she's too late.… (plus d'informations)

It's hard to believe it is really over. I've watched Charlotte fall in love and watch those she loves move on to someone else each time and it broke my heart for her. I've seen Angus standing sadly by, waiting for Charlotte to notice him, and my heart broke for him each time she turned to someone else.

The years have passed, loves have come and gone . . . and finally their chance arrives. The road isn't easy, nor the lessons learned along the way, but will it all be worth it?

I must admit that, in my opinion, Karey White has a very fluid writing style with a flawless delivery of clean romance. This series has wonderful characters and moves quickly through the three books. The Husband Maker Series was all together very easy to read and a great joy to stay involved with.

I am going to cozy up with a box of tissue and indulge myself with more of the books on Ms. White's Amazon Author Page. In the meantime, I highly recommend The Wife Maker, Book Three of The Husband Maker Series by Karey White and give it five steaming hot cups of Room With Books coffee.

Can a girl who has been called "the husband maker" ever find true love with Mr. Right, especially when it's her best friend, and he has been there for her the whole time?

In the first book of The Husband Maker series, The Husband Maker, author Karey White introduces the reader to Charlotte, who is unlucky when it comes to love. Since high school, every guy that she has dated has gone on to marry the next girl they dated. She has been called "The Husband Maker" and questions why she can't find Mr. Right, and what has she done wrong. But when she meets Kyle Aldsworth, a Senator's son with political aspirations of his own, she is swept off her feet. Then in the second book of the series, The Match Maker, Charlotte's story picks up six month later after she has suffered a broken heart from Kyle. Charlotte tried to shake it off and move on by playing matchmaker for her best friends Aleena and Angus, only to find her own heart beating fast for a charming Scotsman tourist named Flynn! Now in the The Wife Maker, the third book in the series, Charlotte is back from Scotland without Flynn, and she has her heart set on her best friend Angus, who just broke up with Aleena. But there is one little problem, Angus is tired of waiting for Charlotte to consider him more than a best friend, he has decided to move on with his life, and has accepted a position halfway across the country in Kansas City. Will Charlotte's plan to get back the most important person in her life succeed, can she win Angus' heart?

The Wife Maker is the third book in The Husband Maker series that continues to follow Charlotte's journey of finding true love. Author Karey White weaves a wonderful contemporary romance story set in San Francisco and Kansas City, that is lighthearted, whimsical, and fun. It easily draws the reader into Charlotte and Angus' story as it unfolds with a nice mixture of clean romance, drama, and humor. I enjoyed following Charlotte's journey filled with dramatic ups and downs, and how she navigates her way through planning out how to win Angus' heart. I really enjoyed that the story was told in the first person narrative from both Charlotte and Angus' perspective. I loved how the romantic angst played out between them: Angus didn't want to get his heart broken, and he tries to move forward with his life; while Charlotte realizes that Angus is her one true love, and is willing to move across the country to win his heart! This is a wonderful conclusion to a very enjoyable romantic series!

The Wife Maker is a sweet romantic story that is a delightful read for all romance fans!

Charlotte has a reputation of being a "husband maker." Everyone she dates goes on to marry the next person they meet. That's all fine and good, and Charlotte has dealt with it fairly well. However, she's realized that maybe she needs to focus those matchmaking skills elsewhere...on her best friend Angus. He surprised her by telling her that he was in love with her, and after some soul searching Charlotte has decided that he's perfect. The only problem is Angus has decided to move on with his life. Now Charlotte has to see if she can get back the one person she never thought she'd lose.

I thoroughly enjoyed the first two books in this series, so I was ready to see what happened in this one. Especially after the ending of the last book. The story jumps right in, but this time we get the added bonus of having some of Angus's point of view. It was very interesting. Angus is trying to save himself the pain of a breakup. Charlotte is his dear friend, but he can't separate that from his love for her. So he decides that distance and time may help with that, and he moves halfway across the country. Of course Charlotte is not likely to let a little cross-country move get in the way of the one thing she realizes she really needs- her best friend and one true love.

Sometimes I just wanted to shake Angus and tell him to get over his trepidation, but I kind of understood it at the same time. It's hard to jump in and risk so many things that are important to you. Charlotte though decided to be bold an make a major move. It was fun to see her so sure of what she wanted. Charlotte would let nothing get in her way. I think the author did a great job of keeping the tension from getting too repetitive and moving the story alone. This book was a wonderful conclusion to a very fun series. You could certainly read this as a standalone, but I recommend reading every one of these books!

Finally the last book of the Husband Maker is here. It was good to end. Was not sure how this book would turn out. I was happy with it. It is full of drama, relationships, and romance. It is a clean read.

Charlotte nickname was husband maker. For years the ex-boyfriend of hers married the next girl they dated after breaking up with her. Her twin brother Will and his best friend Angus called her Chuck or Charles.

Charlotte at last figured out she loved Angus. When Charlotte finally told him. Angus told her it was too late that he was moving away for four years to complete his training and fellowship to special in hip replacements.

Angus finally told Charlotte that he loved her and kissed her. Charlotte ran away to Scotland. He has given up on her and plans to get out of the state and get over her finally. He changed his residency and starting a fellowship at the same time in Kansas city.

Charlotte has to decide what to do. She loves her life in San Francisco.

I was given this ebook Wife Maker to read so I could give a honest review and be part of Wife Maker blog tour. ( )
