This chapter book explores the different human body systems in reference to theatre and popular works of plays/writings. This book does a great job of providing valuable information while applying this creative and engaging twist on the material. Students in a science classroom can benefit from this book to better learn science in a fun way that can encourage creativity within the classroom. Overall I highly recommend this book to students to better understand the body systems! This graphic novel by Maris Wicks is an exciting read filled with comedy and factual information about the human body. The narrator is the author, portrayed as a human skeleton, who takes the reader on a journey about the names and functions of the various features/organs contained in the human body. I highly recommend this book, especially for science/ELAR teachers that want to increase their students literacy and scientific knowledge. aucune critique | ajouter une critique

"Welcome to the Human Body Theater, where your master of ceremonies is going to lead you through a theatrical revue of each and every biological system of the human body! Starting out as a skeleton, the MC puts on a new layer of her costume (her body) with each "act." By turns goofy and intensely informative, the Human Body Theater is always accessible and always entertaining." -- Aucune description trouvée dans une bibliothèque |

It is a TRAVESTY that there isn’t an index in the back. If I were a parent, I’d be using this book to answer random body questions from my kids, and I’d want to be able to flip to sections quickly and easily. ( )
