This is a combination volume of Kaya's first three books, "Meet Kaya", "Kaya's Escape", and "Kaya's Hero" with the illustrations omitted and the Looking Back sections curtailed into a short two page blurb called "Inside Kaya's World". The idea with the BeForever relaunch of the books was to aim for a slightly higher readership. Quite frankly I prefer the individual volumes. Not only do you lose the illustrations (which did a wonderful job of giving you an idea of what Kaya's family and people looked like) but you also lose the wealth of information about the Nimíipuu and their struggle.
