This wordless book is about a mouse travel throughout the house on each page as it move on. I like this book because it very funny and cute. I will use it on my class to compare this mouse to little kids and what make them so interest about a house. It suitable for k-6.

A tricky book for some young readers to get because there are no words! however this is a great way to introduce story telling to a class of young folks! ( )

The House by Monique Felix is a creative way of teaching children colors. It starts off with a blank page and then the mouse begins creating a house out of the pages and gradually adding color throughout. This book would be great for preschoolers or Kindergartners learning their colors.

Although there are no words, the illustrations effectively tell the story. They show how the mouse builds his house out of the pages in the book. I would include it in a PreK or Kindergarten classroom, because it encourages the children to "pretend read" and understand plot. For these reasons, I would leave it in the reading corner and not in a lesson plan. ( )

I love the creativity this book has! Because there are no words it would leave students to make a story of they own! I would use this in very low elementary grades.
