This book was a boy called Arto. Arto family live out North where is really cold and he have to wear a few layers of clothes. The family was moving to the South and Arto was not happy about it. With the help of new friends he understand that moving was not that bad after all.

I thought this book was very cute. I thought that the author did a good job of making the little bog very relatable to other younger children when they have to move. I think most children when they find out they have to move get upset and become stubborn which is relatable. I also like the plot where the little boy befriend a little girl who just recently moved to the same town he lives in. I thought the ending of the story was cute where he had his daily routine exactly the same, but he changed his hat. I thought the illustrations were very helpful in aiding the book. They were bright and interesting to look at, but also reflected the text very well. I think the bigger picture is that no matter where you are you'll always have your memories to live in. ( )

The text is a bit lengthy for the intended audience of this picture book but it effectively conveys a stubborn child's resistance and eventual acceptance of change that will resonate with readers. ( )
