( ) I really liked this series. The descriptions of the war got a bit repetitive though and the whole book felt like it could have been resolved at the beginning if only Jinx would just use his power. I her that he was conflicted about using his power to hurt others but he was just letting people die... 14 year-old Jinx finds himself responsible for multiple problems. The Bonemaster is on the loose destroying clearings, one by one, Simon has been captured by Bonemaster and is slowly fading away into nothingness, Sophie has only 2 days left until her execution day, Reven is chopping down the Urwald and killing people in clearings, King Rufus is burning down the Urwald, and Reven and King Rufus are splitting the Urwald among each other. Jinx must save the Urwald and his friends, before it’s too late. The last book in the series and it's keeping it's readers entertained with multiple deadlines, as Jinx saves the Urwald. (This review may contain some slight spoilers for earlier books in the series.) In this book, Jinx finds himself the unwilling leader of the Free Urwald (a country located mostly in and around the wizard Simon's house). Though Jinx himself has powerful magic, he still doesn't know how to wield it in a way that is useful, and meanwhile, three kings threaten the borders of the Urwald and Simon is a magical captive of the Bonemaster. Jinx is probably the only one who can fix everything -- but how? This is the third book in a trilogy, so obviously it's not going to make a whole lot of sense unless you've read the first two. And if you haven't read the first two, why not? If you like fantasy, you should absolutely be reading this series and looking forward with relish to whatever Sage Blackwood writes next! aucune critique | ajouter une critique
