This book came in a package for reading another authors work. This is part of the 5th avenue series.
A large vendetta and Zoe Brooks wants justice for the one that is no longer. She talks to a handful and knows exactly who they have to target.
A lot of ghosts and pain suffered over the years and we realize she means business. Can she pull it off? LOTS of hot steamy sex and I felt most of the book was about that and not the plot.

Scandalize Me is the second book in the Fifth Avenue trilogy. It features Hunter. He was the boyfriend of Sarah. The woman that Austin's father destroyed and the woman that Austin, Hunter, and their friend, Alex have all vowed to bring justice for against Austin's father.

I have to say that thus far, this book is my favorite. There was more substance (storyline) than just sex. Plus, I loved Zoe and her take charge attitude. She definitely showed Hunter who was boss and that is just what he needed in a woman. I would call the relationship that Zoe and Hunter had more of a dominatrix type relationship. I don't mean just for Zoe but Hunter called the shots too. I can't wait to see how the trilogy ends. ( )

In the second installment in the Fifth Avenue series, Zoe and Hunter are a compelling couple caught up in an intense relationship. More street-smart and 'real' than the average series romance, in Scandalize Me the well-written plot, dialogue and characters will keep the reader turning the pages, and eagerly waiting for the third volume in the series. Zoe only saw Hunter as a means to an end. She was going to use him to get her revenge and that was it. It didn't matter that he was a gorgeous hunk of an ex-pro football player…or that he could immediately heat her up with just a look. When Zoe first came looking for him, Hunter only saw a hot babe. He thought she was just one more woman looking to get a piece of his body. So, she wants to clean up his image? He doesn't really care about his image, but he'll give Zoe a chance to show him what she's up to. Can Zoe and Hunter's close proximity lead to anything but trouble?

I enjoyed Scandalize Me and the "revenge" scenario gives the characters an added edge to their relationship, which easily spices the story up. The story has depth with an emotional storyline and realistic characters. Through all their issues, Zoe and Hunter made their relationship work in a unique and heartwarming way. As they tried to keep their feelings remote and their needs strictly physical, they came to the realization that they didn't want to let each other go. That also added spice to the story. With all the issues involved, I was a little slow to pick up on the actual romantic aspect of the story, but felt it made the story closer to life and less like a romantic fantasy. I did enjoy this second book in the Fifth Avenue series and look forward to reading the next! ( )
