Thing don´t go according to plan and Tim is facing a tough decision, go back to Seattle or stay and take over his fathers medical practice? This book was easy to read and you could easy get the smalltown feeling reading it. A little bit of drama, love and some livechanging decisions needs to be made. When you think you have the book figured out it takes a turn and you are left wondering how it will end. Two love stories in one book with both ending happily is a nice thing to find. Romances are always somewhat predictable but some are more fun to read than others. Tim and Tara’s story is one of a breakup in college five years previously with Tim now a doctor and Tara the small town librarian. They still strike easily get into arguments and feel sparks when together. Their friends, Jack and Becky, are together but encounter a glitch that has to be overcome. Tim’s father is the town doctor with the intention of matchmaking and getting his son to take over his practice much as Tim would rather work in the city. If you are looking for something in the romance genre that is easy to read and leaves you happy – this is the book for you. I give it 3.5 stars "Much Ado in Montana" was a pleasurable read on an early summer day! I loved getting to know Tara and Timothy as I journeyed with them through Campbell, Montana. The story was easy to get into and difficult to leave. I certainly hope there are more stories involving all the characters as I would love to get a further glimpse into their lives. It's not often that a book draws me in and I feel a connection with the characters - especially as so many romances are cheaply written. This romance, however, was well-written with enough twists and turns to keep you interested and addicted. I would recommend this book to romance lovers young and old! The fates of two couples rest on the good intentions of a seventy-five-year-old smalltown doctor in this contemporary version of Much Ado About Nothing. If you don't know the Shakespeare play, no problem. If you do, you'll love how M.M. Justus updates the tale and makes the secondary lovers as convincing as the hero and heroine. Dr. Timothy Swanson of Seattle is reluctantly visiting his hometown of Campbell, MT to attend his father's seventy-fifth birthday celebration. Dr. Samuel Swanson has been the doctor in Campbell for many decades and refuses to retire—unless his son takes his place. Not only does Tim not wish to relocate, but also, on his first night home he discovers that his former girlfriend, Tara Hillerman, has returned to town. Tim and Tara instantly argue, just as they did in the past. The entire town fears and enjoys their verbal battles, except for Rebecca, one of their friends from youth. A wedding, too, is in the offing, as Tim's close friend Jack Rasmussen, a big, outdoorsy archeologist, proposes to tiny, shy Rebecca. This event will bridge two very different pasts: Jack succeeded despite the fact that his mother was a drunk who couldn't name his father; Becky has become estranged from her extremely religious parents since they opposed her romance with Jack. He needs to learn trust while she is developing forthrightness. Much Ado in Montana is driven by the very real feelings, backgrounds, misunderstandings, and love shown by Tara, Tim, Rebecca, and Jack. The romances are believable, and the sex is hot. I really care about these people. I feel for Dr. Samuel Swanson in his stubborn efforts to arrange other people's lives while he fears that his own faculties are waning. I want to drive West and visit Campbell, Montana. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
All bets are offTara Hillerman has lived in tiny, remote Campbell, Montana, all of her life, except for the college years she'd like to forget. Back where she belongs, she won't leave again, even on a bet. Dr. Tim Swanson only came home from Seattle to talk his ailing father into shutting down the clinic he can no longer manage. He definitely won't stay, not even on a bet.But neither of them anticipated their explosive reunion. No one expected Tim's father would come too close to ruining their best friends' lives, either, and when Tara bets Tim that he can set things straight, she doesn't realize he means with her, for a lifetime.
