It only gets two stars, because I love the IDEA of this book, and the cover. That’s about it. Oh, and I didn’t notice any glaring editing issues.
The dialogue is horrible, it’s also dreadfully predictable. The fact that he keeps seeing/thinking of his dead wife when he sees Rihanna completely grossed me out.
The prose are dreadful. Like referring to cooking him breakfast and the fact that she enjoyed watching him eat her “culinary creations”. It was eggs and toast, people. Eggs and toast. Hardly a “culinary creation”. Painful stuff like that.
I just couldn’t be bothered to carry on. I didn’t care who loved or died, so...yeah. (
