Ranma Saotome, 16, is an amazing martial arts student. One day, Ranma and his father, Genma go to an ancient site for some martial arts training. At the site, they encounter an accident that will forever change their lives. When Genma gets wet, he turns into a huge panda. When Ranma gets wet, he turns into a girl. The only way that he can change back into a boy is by getting wet with hot water. Genma is the best friend of Tendo who is the owner of the School of Indiscriminate Grappling. Genma has promised his son’s hand in marriage to one of Tendo’s daughters. As the story, Akane, the youngest daughter, is the chosen one. Akane and Ranma have a very difficult time at school.
