Sure they knew they had the hots for one another but damn, does love and relationship have to be THAT hard to work towards. And poor Cherri's depression, I get it. With all that was going on it was very understandable. What I didn't get was that even when he went to a doctor about it Colin could get no professional guidance on what to do for Cherri, I would like to think that there is a group or something out there that could have help one or both of them. The reunion of father and son was sweet. While I don't like the reasons Magnus had for 'betraying' Colin I'll overlook it seeing as he truly wanted to make amends. Couldn't the author have come up with something more...I don't know, just left a bad taste in my mouth. All in all a nice easy read. There was a lot going on, with lots of characters and past and present storylines, but to me that was entertaining and nicely fast paced. I did think that there was a big age gap between Colin and Cherri, which in itself isn't a big deal to me. In this case, it was noticable in the level of experience and maturity between the two, but I got the attraction between them and felt the sizzle. Overall, I enjoyed reading this.
