When Pippi gets a letter from her father telling her to come to his island in the South Seas, she can't wait to climb aboard his ship and set sail! But what about her best friends, Tommy and Annika? Are they invited too? In which Pippi wrestles with a hungry shark, dazzles island children with gold, and even catches a couple of selfish robbers. The boys enjoyed this as much as the first one. I found it dragged a bit in the middle during the episode with the bad guys and maybe the translation made the dialog nastier than perhaps it is in the original Swedish. I don't know I'm just thinking that threatening to kill kids over pearls isn't the best plot device ever. The ending was interesting when you felt a bit of pathos while the children decided they didn't ever want to grow up. Est contenu dansContientFait l'objet d'une adaptation dans
