We are so vulnerable when we are young. By young I mean just out of high school, as our adult life begins. We go off to college, usually this is the first time we are away from home, on our own, feeling like an adult but not quite sure what that means yet. Decisions are made and we try to make our way, even though sometimes we are following the wrong path. Hoping we can save the day and not be found out.
One lie, one little lie, that is how it all began. Katie just did not know how to back out and come clean after that one little lie. It just snowballed from there and it cost her everything she held dear. As she faces Brandon now, she is so vulnerable, she is unable to defend herself against the humiliation he has in store for her. Bastard!
You will not be able to put this story down. I am so grateful to JS Cooper aka Helen Cooper for promising Part 2 by January 2nd and Part 3 by January 9th! I NEED to finish this story because it has me revved up! (
