The Missionary is very high energy and exciting from the first word. It’s very moment-to-moment. The male lead Stone is very Rambo/MacGyver. The scenes played in my head like a Jason Bourne film. I really have to bring attention to one important part of this book. The sex scenes between the male and female leads were so refreshing! They were very believable, no over the top craziness, and still maintained the hot as hell aspect. None of those cliché words and phrases that make you cringe were used! Amazing right? Fist bump to Mr. Jack Wilder! More authors should read this to learn how to write a proper sex scene. The author really knows their shit. Everything written was completely realistic. I cannot imagine the amount of research that went into this book. Everything within the book is well-versed and very knowledgable including the ins and outs of being a Navy Seal, the US government, the sex slave trade industry, how people live and the land makeup of foreign countries, the life of a sex slave, and the aftermath including feelings of the sex slaves. To sum up my reading experience of this book-I could not put it down! It was blunt, truthful, entertaining, and emotional. I highly recommend. Jack Wilder really does a superb job of providing an engrossing storyline that highlights true problems in the world today. **A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this book will be donated to charities that fight sex trafficking** toni Amazing book. Everyone should read it. My review can be found at http://divasdiscussions.blogspot.com/2013/10/the-missionary-by-jack-wilder.html aucune critique | ajouter une critique
