To be honest, I started reading this book because of the quote on the front cover. For ONCE it was not comparing it to fifty shades of grey. FINALLY! Hotelles starts at the end. Once you have read the prologue, you get to find out how Elle gets to her current situation. The start was a bit slow for me and I was tempted to put it down and forget about it all together. Yet I decided to sick with it because I wanted to know what leads Elle to the situation that she is placed in. How will see cope? Will her secret be revealed in the long run? Yes there was a long build up in this story, but after finishing I felt it was all worth it. If you're after a dirty read, this may not be for you. This is more for a sexual exploration of the main character and what becomes of her sexual awakening. Also due to the book being a French translation some of the names and locations were very confusing. If you know Paris and surrounding area, I guess that this won't be a problem. However I did learn a lot about French history and their culture, so that is a plus. I'm not sure if I'll read the next one. I honesty didn't know that were was another one. I thought this was a standalone. The way it ends it could be, but time will tell whether I read the next one or not. To be honest, I started reading this book because of the quote on the front cover.
