Did an actual relationship happen between the two or did they just have amazing chemistry and sex? I think the latter. 3.5 stars. ( )

Fun motorcycle romance. Good explanation of why there was an MC club in this small town in Missouri. I thought the characterizations were well done and believable as to why the hero was in an MC and how he justified his crimes. I liked the heroine. She was pretty bad ass. Generally I don't care much for the type of coincidence that drives this book but here it was a coincidence that seemed inevitable. So she seems like the type of woman who could accept the life she is going to be entering. Anyway, I'd like to read more in this series but I see that the next book is not about a different couple but about this couple again. I'm not a fan of that in romance series because I feel like this couple had a pretty solid HEA and a further book just means they'll be having relationship problems. We'll see. ( )

Strong heroine.
Alternate chapters are her childhood and events around her family.
Dual POV.
The couple are together almost from the time they meet.
There is some mystery to her background and why she is there.
There is some other woman drama, an ex 'friend'.

But no cheating or flirting.
After the Hero and heroine have been intimate, the Hero sees a club girl "He put an arm around her waist and kissed her hard" he later leaves as he doesn't want her but the offer was there.

No intimate scenes with anyone other than the Hero and heroine.

The story does deal with drugs that the club is involved in, there is also some violence.
HEA. ( )

BE WARNED...THIS AUTHOR DOES NOT DO HEA!

Okay...this is a Mean, Rough and Tough MC book! The heroine, Lilli, is a jock....the only way that I could connect to her was to imagine Xena ...LOL

The hero, Issac, was a dream.... he was sexy, and tough, and vulnerable, and sweet...and he would kill you without missing a beat if you crossed him, his family, his town.

These two came together in hot, sexy fever of lust. And at the end...they found love...what more could you ask for?

On to book two! ( )
