As the series grows, my favorite male character has become Anubis. I love his logical stand-point on life and he offers such a contrast to Brenna, that I find the two to be perfect compliments (when I started Dark Cotillion, it was Gabriel).
I am interested to see how everything turns out. I know, I should already have it planned, and I do, but things have a way of changing. Dark Illumination did not turn out the way I had it planned and adjustments had to be made to the plots of the novels that follow as a result.
And I actually enjoyed writing Dark Illumination more than Dark Cotillion. (
