Wow, how I liked this story! I loved almost everything about it: the game of inverted roles, the light BDSM side, the lingerie kink, the super hotness, the tenderness and the involvement of Rob & Jamie, even the age-gap makes sense.

My only qualm is that it seemed to me that the trust building is a little too fast. ( )

The original prompt photo for this story is from the "Leather & Lace" series by photographer Thomas Synnamon. It is my favourite photo set by him. There, I've said it...this is one of my kinks. ;) There is something about seeing the male form in both leather and lace that pushes buttons I didn't even know I had until seeing this spread.

That being said, Ms. Davitt has brought that photo to life, giving it emotion as well as the heat! I loved these guys and I loved the story!

Stories about unusual D/s relationships always fascinate me, and 'Life Drawing' is a good example. Both partners start out with incorrect, even unfounded assumptions made during a chance meeting, but are curious enough to want to get to know each other. They have to really work to reach an understanding of each other's needs since the "standard" behaviors and tools do not work for them. The things they come up with, the way they tailor their scenes to what they want, is totally hot. The symbols of leather and lace come to really mean something to them, and I loved being part of their journey.

Rob is tall, well-muscled, and very few people guess that he's gay. He loves wearing lace and silky underwear, but is afraid of being laughed at. This shame has held him back from opening up to men he's had relationships with, and when he meets and gets to know Jamie, Rob is just as afraid he'll ridicule him as he has been with all other partners. He may be ready to try being a sexual sub, but the silk is his secret to keep. Or so he thinks.

Jamie is an artist and may look like a twink, but he's a Dom all the way. He is also willing to experiment, so when Rob hints at being curious, Jamie is flexible enough to try something new. And the role play he comes up with is not only super hot, but satisfies his artistic side as well. He has a few issues with arrogance and assuming things, never mind the facts, but he is willing and able to learn – motivated by his attraction to Rob.

If you like studies in contrast of the physical and emotional kind, if you enjoy reading about men into silk and lace but not completely into cross-dressing, and if you’re looking for a fun, very hot read with a touch of kink, then you will probably like this free short story. ( )
