This book focuses on collecting data and different ways to represent the data. In this book they are tasting pies, and they cannot decide which one is the best, so they hold a competition. In order to determine which pie is the winner they must collect data and present it in a way to clearly show which pie one! This would be a fun book to use when introducing data and graphing to your class. You could hold a similar competition with your students to make this lesson even more enjoyable! ( ) A dessert is needing to be made for the annual Harvest Faire and it is up to Sir Cumference and Lady Di of Ameter to find a new cook. Pia of Chartres and Bart Graf are two cooks found that will be in a contest to see who's dessert will be at the Faire. To track the votes of who is to win, they need to come up with a system to tally the votes. The pie chart and bar graph are created to use, but the vote is a tie so a hybrid recipe is made that everyone enjoys. This book is a humorous book to appeal to students to introduce types of graphs as you start the lesson. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
