In ZENSPIRATION, you learn the mechanics of creating dangles. From pins, bars, socks, and everywhere in between. Really, there's not much rhyme or reason to it, you simply draw some bars on a page and fill it in as you like. The book encourages you to use your imagination to decorate in your own way.
Who knew there were so many ways to use dangles in your drawings? There is no right or wrong way to dangle. There are more beautiful examples of ways to use your dangles. I especially like the way the author has used them to create the hair of an angel or the feathers of birds.
The author gives lots of examples and instructions regarding the basics of creating dangles and how to construct them. I was not entirely comfortable before reading this book, to be creating dangles. Now, I feel like an old hand and have no problem adding them here, there, and everywhere.
The book is thin, there are a few pages for use in practice, but it is still a great learning tool. This one has a special spot on my doodles, dangles, and hand lettering shelf. #joannefink #zenspirationsdangledesigns (
