( ) This book picks up where Harley Quinn: Prelude and Knock-Knock Jokes leaves off. If you haven't read that one yet, don't start here as you'll be walking into the middle of a story. Betrayed by the Joker, Harley is roaming about Gotham as a villain in her own right with a gang of henchman of her own. Of course, things often go awry when Harley is involved... After reading the first volume and saying I wasn't interested enough to pick up the second one, I realized I actually already had the second one in my house so I might as well read it. It's now been a couple of months since I did read it, so this review will be a little murky on details. I do recall feeling the same "eh" about this title as I did the previous volume. It was more than a little goofy at times, although I did appreciate having more of Harley's backstory regarding her life before she met the Joker. Bringing in references to Batgirl and others undoubtedly appeals to big fans of the Batman universe, although that also always runs the risks of alienating those who aren't super invested in reading every single title and would like things a little more compartmentalized. The illustrations are very good, full of bright colors, lively action, and clear emotions. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
