In this retelling of Rapunzel, Hermes accepts a dare to climb to the top of a stone tower on a neighbor's estate. He is shocked to discover that a beautiful girl lives in the tower and on her invitation agrees to return to visit her. The story is well told and engaging, in fact it keep me up until the wee hours of the morning. Every time I thought maybe I should put it down and go to sleep something would happen and leave me needing to know what happened next.
The story is a tale of forgiveness and redemption and shows what it takes to be a real hero. ( )
