In this eye-opening story, God comes to Earth to check things out. He notices two children and fusses at them for not taking care of the Earth. The two children went to different groups of people in hopes to make the world a better place. After the children told the people that God had sent them, the people began to clean the world up also. When God came for another visit he was very happy with the children.

I found this to be a very interesting book. Everyone knows how important it is that we keep our Earth clean, but I have never seen anyone use God as a way to encourage people to keep it clean. While I personally am a Christian, as a professional one must take into consideration that we all do not share the same faith. If I was allowed to read this to my class, I would use this as a book to help encourage recycling and taking better care of our planet. To go along with the lesson of the book I could set up recycle bins for the school in which I was teaching at. ( )

Sometimes, kids know more than adults about why the world is the way it is. Asking kids questions such as, "Why do we polute the Earth?" helps make children aware of their surroundings. ( )
