I'm not a Christian but I like Lewis, he's capable of reason and seems to have an astute understanding of human nature. Unfortunately, he spends a lot of time defending his archaic religious tradition in this book using qualitative and often fallacious analogies. He does allude that there is a great deal of human experience that cannot be communicated verbally or described, measured and understood in scientific terms and that is a good lesson from this book that modern materialists can benefit from for it is this part of the human experience that is involved in religiosity in general.
