This omnibus combines the three Elements of the Undead books in a single volume.Book One - FireWhen Megan Pritchard clocks in for her late night shift in a Nevada brothel, she has no way of knowing it will be her last. Around the world, the dead are rising, and mankind is on the express train to extinction. With Dave's broken leg making movement impossible and the disintegration of civilization accelerating around them, they have to act fast, or be consumed by the seething horde below.Book Three - EarthIt's been three years since the undead dragged mankind kicking and screaming from the top of the food chain and sent him scurrying into the dark corners of a dead world. For a beleaguered band of survivors in southern Arizona, life is about to go from bad to worse. The rains have failed and, they have no choice but to leave the safety of their home in search of water. But before they can make their move, they must face a new threat from the undead, a threat beyond anything in their worst nightmares.… (plus d'informations)

This was fantastic! I was sad when it ended. I'm sorry it took me as long as it did to get through it. Sometimes I went way too long between sessions and my brain felt a little lost, but chances are that may have happened regardless thanks to my 3 "distractions" (aka children). My girls weren't particularly taken with it as they felt it was a little creepy. Considering they are not the target audience, that doesn't alter my opinion. If anything, it might make it a bit higher as it meant I actually got some alone time. The way this is written, it jumps between points of view, which admittedly, is sometimes hard to keep up with when you are listening to a book rather than reading it yourself, but the narrator did a good job with keeping character voices discernable

*I received a copy of this audio book for free. The review is my own and unsolicited. ( )

This is a great collection of zombie apocalypse stories. Fire takes the reader through the initial outbreak, Air is very short and continues the story, and Earth takes the reader through the main character's escape to an oil rig. I purchased this series to read the fourth book, Water, and am so glad I did. This is full of adventure and the author keeps the reader's attention through out each book. I would recommend this series to anyone that enjoys zombies. ( )

This was a decent zombie trilogy. The only thing that bothered me was we never found out what happened to the navy woman who went crazy with power. I think there may be other books in the future. ( )

I wasn't so sure I would get into this book, but after winning it on Early Reviewer, Member Giveaway, I really enjoyed getting the opportunity to read it. The dystopic world after a zombie attack has the characters attempting to make a go of life without safety or security from anything. If I had to make a critique, it would be that the beginning of the story could use a bit more discussion, and the ending as well; just a bit more. Otherwise this is a great story, and could see it functioning best with the young adult reader group, but warning, there is some language and themes that would be censorable. ( )
