Yes! Hooked in. If you have watched the TV series I would recommend a quick read through this tome. The first half I was trying to tie-in to the series, the second half I was entranced on its own merit. Interesting, in that I don't think that I have ever tolerated a book in this format before (I usually give up 1/2 way through) and this one I read through in one sitting...very enjoyable. (
