Victor Steingardt’s diary reveals a self-centered, egotistical, sexist man whose adventures in the criminal world are sometime as comedic as they are appalling. His taste for vodka may reveal why his henchmen are interesting characters with very different opinions. Good selection if you have very little time to read. ( ) Cette critique a été rédigée pour LibraryThing Member Giveaways. This was a really fun book to read. You either end up loving or hating the main character Victor (whom I loved!), and all of the little bits of his background just add more to the story. I loved reading about how he took time to get to know his "henchmen" and all of their interesting hobbies. I think this would be a great book for anyone. I can see older kids enjoying it as well as adults.Cette critique a été rédigée pour LibraryThing Member Giveaways. I received this wonderful tiny book for free. I enjoyed the storyline to the book. Basically, its a journal written by a man who wants to take over the world. In the journal, he describes his henchmen, killing machines and little details about taking over the world. For the rest of the review, visit my book blog at: http://angelofmine1974.livejournal.com/49848.html Cette critique a été rédigée pour LibraryThing Member Giveaways. I feel I have learned a great deal about what makes a great Evil Genius after reading this book. I enjoyed reading about henchman ( something other evil genius have left out) . Planning well ahead, sharing and caring. I f you have ever read a spy novel read this too. It gives new meaning to Evil Genius Cette critique a été rédigée pour LibraryThing Member Giveaways. If you ever wonder what is going in a mind of an evil genius who is very determined to take over the world, then you need to read this book. This book portrays the inner workings of Victor Steingardt in a very humorus light and the journal format makes him more likable then if the book was in regualar book format. This book is enjoyable and everyone should either love it or at least like it. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
When does a character fall under the "evil genius" category? Victor Steingardt is the prototypical evil genius, (although admittedly not much), who is bent on ruling the world. At the start of the year, he picks up a journal and begins writing. Gary Patella's fiction, Diary of an Evil Genius, invites readers to follow this antihero's thoughts, taking a glimpse of how his mind works as his plans come to a close. Through his journal entries, readers are able to follow Victor's plans. Some entries deal with global domination, while others go off on a tangent. Seasoned with witty and conceited remarks, Diary of an Evil Genius contains reflections of past events, and reflections on events of the day. Henchmen are also given some depth as they step into the spotlight. Each reader will have his or her own feelings about Victor the calculating, misogynistic, egotistical mastermind with the sole aim of global domination who tries to show that he is different from all of the others that have tried to rule the world. But whether he is loved or hated, his writings are sure to be enjoyed by many. Aucune description trouvée dans une bibliothèque |
