This book benefits the Pediatric AIDS Foundation for children. These are lyrics from songs put into poetry format. There are 20 songs from Walt Disney Records typed out and put into a book for children. The songs artist range from Paula Abdul to Bob Dylan. There are familar songs such as Itsy Bitsy Spider and Mary Had a Little Lamb but with a twist and some that children may not know yet.

I like this book because it will make children feel good. Not only are they learning songs but they are reading poetry. There are also pictures to go along with the poems. All the profits from this book are donated to the Pediatric AIDS Foundation.

I would use this books to teach poetry. Showing children that poetry can be made into a song would make it fun for them. I would the children work in groups to write a song of poetry and I would bring instruments to have the preform in their songs in class.
