God, as always, saw to it that this profoundly fundamental, and truth-filled book made it into my hands at the perfect time. We have all experienced pain, will experience pain, and quite possibly ARE experiencing pain. It's the human condition, one that only Jesus Christ has the antidote for. Unfortunately, in our times of pain, we, like the author reminds us, question where God is in it, why He would permit it, and wait to get out as painlessly and quickly as possible. Mona Hanna has mastered the ability of genius, in that she takes us back to the fundamentals of God's ways. She reminds us that God is ALWAYS aware of where we are long before we get there and has an intent purpose for picking lemons like us to make, from us, the most thirst-quenching lemonade others can gulp down during their own seasons of trial by fire. Every single point in God's Promises Of Love reminds me of the truth that matters most and the same truth that evades me during trying times when I just plain don't understand. ( )
