The perfect Easter treat!Oh dear, the Easter Bunny's in a bit of a muddle. He's been so busy preparing for his party that he's forgotten to deliver eggs to all of his friends! So off he scrambles at top speed. But when Mrs Duck hatches a baby croc and the Turtles become parents to a penguin chick, the Easter Bunny's mix-up soon becomes clear. Will he be able to sort out the muddle? And let's hope it doesn't spoil the party! A fabulously funny rhyming text with adorable illustrations.… (plus d'informations)

I love the vibrant colors. You can use the book when talking about Easter. The Easter bunny forgot to deliver eggs to all of his friends because he was so busy preparing for his party. Then then has to scramble to deliver eggs to his friends. ( )

I didn't read this through before my toddler (31 months) looked at it and he hasn't looked at it again so I've moved it into his bedroom for him to have access to there. Usually when a new book comes in to the house it doesn't leave the settee so that he can look at it over and over again. So as he's choosing other ones I'm guessing he isn't that keen as he keeps saying "aw mammy the eggs" when he reads it and doesn't ask for it to be read again once we've reached the end.

My thoughts are along the same lines, I really didn't like it. I know it is a toddler's book but even my son knows that all the animals have their own babies so why is a rabbit taking them their eggs? It confused me a little and the poor frozen chicken at the end! Thank goodness he isn't really old enough to ask about why they might not be with their own mammy and daddy and that someone has to bring their babies. I also couldn't get my head round how just by pushing the roundabout fast enough for all the babies to fall off that they were automatically returned to the correct parent. Again, I know it is only a toddler's book but it just didn't make sense.

I love the illustrations however but I don't like the glittery front as it is comes off on your fingers. My final gripe is that the story actually has little to do with Easter Eggs in the sense of how they are presented on the front cover. The ones on the cover look like chocolate eggs rather than eggs with real live animals in. A disappointment all round really, my only relief is it isn't one that a) we bought and b) someone bought for him. ( )
