Young Reader Reaction: Having breezed through Mission Unstoppable, we thought our daughter would love this book. She got about halfway through and decided it had gotten to repetitive / tedious. Adult Reader Reaction: The action is nonstop - and so is the laughter. The story has a "Phineas and Ferb" meets "Spy Kids" feel to it. Because of that, I could see how our pre-teen decided to abandon the book. I kept reading, largely because I loved the pictures and some of the sight-seeing stops. Pros: Good guys, bad guys, peril, and survival - with a heavy dose of humor! - will keep kids turning the page in this cross-country adventure. The book is fantastic. A perfect second book to an already amazing book. It has action, and suspense everywhere. The book is one my favorites, and I plan on reading the entire series till the end. The characters are perfect, and are kids, and their lives are only slightly understandable. I love the book, and I will read the other books, and all are probably great. I love the story lines, and what the characters go through, and it is a great book, and I recommend it for everyone for any situation. ( )
