I ain't going to give y'all no in put read it its good because Apple has lost her mind. Kola is going to get her revenge. All them men are crazy and I still feel sad for Nichols. ( )

Night and Day

Seventeen-year-old twins Apple and Kola are like night and day. Although identical in looks, they have different personalities. The two cannot stand one another and are always at each other's throats, arguing and fighting. Apple is the more laid back twin. Kola, on the other hand, is wild and loud, making moves of her own.

When a tragedy strikes their family, the twins are devastated. Unfortunately, Kola is angry because she knows that Apple had a part to play in it all. Apple knows deep down inside that her sister is right but refuses to accept the blame. Will this tragedy bring the sisters together in the long run or will it pull them further apart?

Nisa Santiago’s “Bad Apple” was a quick read but the story just moved way too fast. It got to the point that I was wondering what I missed. The character Apple went from acting one way to doing a complete 360 and became just as ruthless, if not more so, overnight. There were parts in the story that just did not add up and more explanation was needed. Also, some things just were a little "too convenient." The way the author tried to tidy up Apple's stupidity was too far-fetched. To finish the book and to realize there was going to be a sequel completely turned me off. Though a quick read, I cannot say I would recommend this novel.
