Extremely helpful for GRE prep, I especially like their sardonic attitude about the test and the fact that it only measures how well you take it. ( )

Cracking the GRE is a study guide for those trying to enter into graduate school by helping them crack (hence the title) the GRE, the graduate entrance exam. While this book did not give practice tests (unlike most study guides), it did give a lot of help with every aspect of the GRE. I was slightly disappointed at the lack of an actual practice test in the book, as well as a few grammatical errors. ( )

Helpfulness that comes with a biting cynicism. The GRE is a hellion but this book might get you ready. ( )
