Tom is working later than ever at his auto repair shop. He has fallen in love with a classic Buick he is restoring. As he is not doing anything wrong he doesn’t see the need to give much explanations to his wife about his new longer hours.
After years as a stay-at-home mom, Erika has just returned to work in the medical records department of the local hospital. She is making new friends but the lunch gossip about cheating husbands and their “modus operandi” starts to sow doubts in Erika about Tom’s weird behavior lately.

The Bentleys Buy a Buick was a different kind of contemporary. It's about an already married and stable couple and the problems they encounter for lack of communication.
Both Tom and Erika are likable and realistic characters and their son Quinton is just adorable.

The Bentleys Buy a Buick was a fun and cute read. The only complain I have is that I found the cars analogies a bit overwhelming at times. ( )

I have a hard time to finish reading this book. It could only me that find the story plot is dull and fail to ignite my interest at all thru out the whole story. The story was based on a car; buick called Clara and how Erica went thru hell because of her when she took to believe that her husband, Tom has betrayed her. It was rather hilarious indeed to see how the story developed further. I guess the only thing that save the day was the gossipy groups of Erica's colleagues whose has indirectly planted the idea that her husband has betrayed her based on the symptom dicussed durng their lunch time! ( )
