Enjoyable, well-illustrated story about the founding of Mexico City and the Aztecs' last victory over Spain. ( ) This book is mainly about the first battle between the Aztecs and the Spanish in the 1500s when the Spanish lost. The book had a lot of colorful pictures, but the story was short and choppy. The story tried to cover too much information in a short amount of pages. The return of Cortes and his army and the destruction of Tenochtitlan is relegated to a few pages in the back. Could be used in upper elementary(4-5)as well as in middle school(6-8). aucune critique | ajouter une critique
