I thought this was my best shot at convincing the neuroscientist of the utility of emotions/brain chemistry, but no. It did extra-convince me, though. ( ) Panksepp and Biven have delivered a remarkable and detailed record of the neural architecture of human emotions. There is quite a lot to take from this book. In my opinion, Panksepp was way ahead of his time and I can't find a better description than one made by another Goodreads user (Morgan Blackledge): Panksepp was an underrated mega-dude! I would only add super- to it. Go buy this book now! aucune critique | ajouter une critique
Jaak Panskepp's lifework has revealed that all mammalian brains are composed of seven common emotional systems - seeking, lust, rage, fear, care, grief and play. This book provides an easy-to-understand explanation of the way in which these common systems guide emotional life in all mammals, including humans. Aucune description trouvée dans une bibliothèque |
