It's amazing how few of these types of books show a breastfeeding mother. The only other one I've seen of the 6 or 7 we read was a Mr. Rogers one and (gasp!) it has a photo of a breastfeeding mom. -Plus, the illustrations are nice. Strongly recommended! This wordless book details the arrival of a new baby into a family. The drawings are done in bright colors and and are simple with not much detail.
Compared to the other book in this genre, Pancakes for Breakfast, this book is used mainly to explain something to a young child about the arrival of a new baby rather than to entertain like the other book. (
