This is fun! It is really quite easy if you can knit, and the direction are very complete. It assumes that you can knit and purl, but everything else is clearly explained. I picked up my needles and worked on a practice piece that looks quite nice. Of course once the basics have been dealt with, there are explanations on how to make it much more complicated. There are also several interesting projects using entrelac ranging from small and easy to large and complicated. Edited to add: The vest I made from this book gets a lot of attention from other knitters. Using a yarn that changes colours, the effect is amazing. And really not anywhere near as difficult as it looks. One of today's hottest knitting trends is entrelac, a modular technique that results in striking basketwork designs of rows within rows and interlocking diamond patterns. Using only simple knit and purl stitches, knitters can create eye-catching pieces with incredible texture. Entrelac introduces both the history and how-to of this fun style, along with 20 patterns for a variety of garments, home décor items, and baby accessories. Comprehensive instructions and a wide array of swatches provide endless possibilities in lace, colorwork, and much more. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
