Two cowboys looking for love...

Jack Barnes and Sam Fleetwood met in foster care. Over the years, they've become best friends and partners. They share a business as cattle ranchers and a house. There's only one thing missing: a woman to share. The men are sure they've found that woman when Abigail Moore arrives in their small town, Willow Fork, TX.

A woman trying to find her place in the world...

Abby left her hometown twenty years before under a cloud of scandal. She's raised a daughter, forged a new life for herself, and is ready for the next phase when she meets the handsome cowboys.

One small town that's ready to explode...

They're a dream come true—Jack is the sexy Dom, and Sam the playful lover. It's everything she's ever fantasized about. There's only one problem. She's still not welcome in Willow Fork, and someone is willing to kill to keep her away.

Same rating - it was good but not great, it was cute but not awesome, it did have some action in it which I forgot about, like a little bit of suspense to keep you engaged in the book - but it flew by so fast it didn't truly matter in the end ( )

This is the first book of the Texas Sirens series. A very nice introduction. Sophie Oak has a way of injecting humor into the stories making them a delight! I often find myself laughing out loud!

Super Sexy steamy scenes with a touch of MM to keep it interesting!

Can not wait to see where this story is headed! ( )

This book covered all the bases for me and I knew, as soon as we had the main characters getting hot under the collar within the first chapter, it was going to be amazingly hot! The ménage was mainly M/F/M, but it felt natural and I truly believed the reasoning behind the inclination of the men to share. Jack is a Dominant. Having taken care of Sam since they met in foster care, he has come to look at him as his responsibility. When Sam confesses his attraction to Abbie, Jack is more than a little wary. When he decides that Abbie is theirs for the taking, his take-charge personality comes out to play and the pursuit is relentless. I have to say I melted with her...the men are so sweet yet their attitudes are just so hot! Abbie is attracted to them from the start but assumes they are a gay couple. When that misunderstanding is cleared up, she makes sure that they know that she accepts their offer of becoming part of a cowboy sandwich, but that’s about it. With the negative way the town reacts to her presence, she knows that she can’t stay in Willow Forks and has no interest in getting her heart broken in her short stay. Little does she know that Jack is a man with a plan and his sole focus is getting Abbie to become a permanent of their lives. He takes care of her without ever stifling her, he treats her like a princess and the sex...wow! Sex pretty much happens from chapter three and everytime it's a no-holds barred smut fest. There is mild BDSM, spanking, anal sex, oral sex...you name it these three do it. Jack is the Dominant in the ménage, as Sam and Abbie are both submissive. There is a brief M/M/F incident, but overall its Jack choreographing a M/F/M ménage. The scene when all three of them go into the playroom made me go a little fluttery...I’ve never read a BDSM scene with two submissive's and a Dominant but it’s definitely something I’ll look out for again!

I first read this book about three years ago. I am always looking for author that can write Domination and submission stories that will hold my interest. I am not looking for the hard core BDSM that has no love or commitment in the story. So I was thrilled when friends I trust suggested that I read this series and the Nights in Bliss, Colorado series. I decided I would try to read the books in order this time and enjoy the series when they begin to intertwine. I will warn reader up front that there is spanking and the use of toys in this story and there is one scene of Jack kissing Sam.

I guess what I like the most about this story is the author must live and has lived in a small town. These places can be murder on those that don’t fit in. There is always a Ruby Echols somewhere that is sure they are better than anyone else. They make everyone miserable because they are miserable themselves. I guess that is one reason I have never enjoyed a small town. I have no desire for a bunch of old bitties to feel like they are qualified to judge me or my family.

I did love Jack Barnes and Sam Fleetwood. They are the tortured hero that I love to read about getting a loving woman that will help them become better people. Jack is a caring individual that is loyal to those that he considers friends and family. He works hard to make the ranch he and Sam own a success. I also love that he isn't above making someone pay when the hurt someone close to him.

Sam is kind of comical at times. He is charming and lovable and prone to make bad decisions when he has had too much to drink. Sam is also a submissive that longs for Jacks attention. He is afraid to ask Jack for what he wants but Abby finds a way to help the two men come together.

Abigail Moore is a strong, intelligent woman that has come home to take care of her Mother. She is a nurse and as such is one of the caring, compassionate, and loyal people that all healers seemed to be. I don’t think that Abby really wanted to stay in Willow Fork but Jack and Sam sort of swept her off her feet. There are a few places that she forgets that she doesn't have to fight her battles alone anymore and Jack shows her the error of her ways. I love that Abby is open minded and willing to experiment with pleasing Jack and Sam both.

This is the first part of a greater story. The next book in this series, Siren in the City, is the finish of the story. Ms. Oak does a very good job of telling these stories and I look forward to each new book. She writes wonderful characters and some pretty good villains. This is one of the first books that she had written and I am impressed that she kept my attention through the whole story even though I had read it three years ago. ( )
