The detectives solve the case and help surprise Lady Grizzly.

I have always loved the Berenstain Bears books. Every book has a great message within it to teach children to make sure they are doing the right thing. In this story Brother and Sister bear tag along with their Uncle to Squire Grizzly's mansion. I think that this story is put together in a great manner because even as an adult, I am turning the pages to see what will happen next. When they hear Lady Grizzly's scream come from another room and everyone goes silent enticed my curiosity and I turned the page to see what happened. I think mysteries are of a great advantage to children because it shows them that stories can be unpredictable at times. When the cubs finally figure out what is actually happening around the mansion, they come together and laugh about it. This could be a great message for young readers because if something is frightening and not going as planned, sticking with someone that you trust is the greatest plan. Brother and Sister Bear made sure to stick together and find out what was happening. They never left each other's side and they resolved the problem together. Children would benefit very much from reading this story and seeing the bond between the siblings. ( )
