This was definitely an awesome graphic novel and I am sorry I waited so long to read it. There is a mysterious blonde handing out justice in Porte Nocturne. No one knows who she is but she is getting more done then the cops are. This book is clearly an homage to all things pulp. Starting with the obvious shout out to noir and going as far as massive robots and jungle girls. I like that we never really know who the blonde is. I think that makes the heroine a little bit better. The stories are dark but they still have that hint of twisted humor that I think it is a staple in pulp. The artwork is great and really ties into what the authors are trying to do with the story. This was definitely an awesome graphic novel and I am sorry I waited so long to read it.
