Preserves inactive county government records that are retained on a permanent basis in organized record series for historical, genealogical, and other research purposes. These records include documents pertaining to deeds, court cases, naturalizations, and many other subjects. Archive also houses a reference collection containing books and other publications relating to local history and genealogy. There are a few special collections in the archive that contain books, newspapers, maps, newspaper clippings, pamphlets, etc.
