Follow Ata's travails through royal intrigues, violent invasions, and hard-forged alliances as she fights alongside friend and foe for the survival of the continent of Áitarbith. She questions old relationships and forges new ones whilst navigating treacherous courts and brutal battle landscapes, possibly finding love along the way.
In the face of an implacably ruthless enemy, as well as uncertainty as to who can be trusted, the final outcome of this struggle is anything but certain.
This is Book 1 of a trilogy, the Chronicles of Áitarbith.

Being a first-time indie author, I am eager to share my book with readers and welcome feedback/constructive criticism, as this is the first of a trilogy and all input is appreciated. The Assays of Ata is a fantasy novel with an ancillary romantic plot. Despite containing a few YA elements, I hesitate to label it as such, due to there being some strong language and violence in the story (although many YA and New Adult novels do contain these in abundance, I would prefer not to mislead anyone in that regard). The follow-up novel is preliminarily titled The Trials of Ata, and currently in the process of being written.
