Ex-SFPD officer Harlan Donnally made many friends and a few enemies throughout his career including longtime fishing buddy, Judge Ray McMullen. On a fishing trip, McMullen confides to Donnally that he has always worried he made mistake during a murder trial twenty years earlier…and the prisoner’s execution date is approaching quickly. To help his now aging friend clear his conscious, Donnally dives into the seedy underworld of the Norteño and Sureño, rival Mexican gangs in San Francisco.
