Got halfway through, put it aside for a week, and realized I didn't miss it at all. I was interested in several aspects of it, but they just didn't speak to me. Fair enough - not every book is for everyone.
Too many points of view and characters I didn't care much about or understand, combined with a writing style that didn't really appeal to me, amounted to a two star rating. I didn't hate it, and I did finish the book, but I didn't like it enough to continue with the series. The ideas are interesting, but I think I'm done with Heather and Dante.
The thing I remember best about this book was that it was all a bit blah.
I cant even remember the characters name...let alone the heroines. That is not a good sign.

Wow! After this novella I know I definitely need to stop putting off her Hoodoo series!
