No new insights in the history of the USSR, but interesting look back on the Soviet Union under Stalin. Amazing to read that he thought he would not have survived if Stalin would have lived another year, but still defends most of Stalin's actions.

OK, this was clearly propaganda, but I do believe the events described herein actually happened. The actual writing is only 30 pages; the rest are a lot of photographs, many quite gruesome. If you're interested in Holocaust photography this book is for you, for most of these I have never seen anywhere else.
